I. You Must First Understand That God Deals With You Based Upon What You Are - Not What You Do.

II. You Must Secondly Understand How God Chose To Solve Your Problem.
(God solved your problem by sending His Son to die in your place.)

God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

It is God's will that none should perish. II Peter 3:9
III. You Must Thirdly Understand "You" Have To Make The Choice!

Choice #1 - For the wages of sin is death.

Choice #2 - but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father, but by Me." John 14:6

He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36
IV. Fourth, You Must Accept The Gift Of God, Which Is Found In The Person Of Jesus Christ.

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

Dear God, I know that Jesus is your Son, He died on the cross and You raised Him from the dead for me. Because I am a sinner in need of forgiveness, I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart, forgive me of my sins and save me. I am willing to change the direction of my life in acknowledging Jesus as my Lord and Savior, by turning away from my sin and looking to Him for everything.
